In The Pink P14

The goombas decide to discuss whether or not to attack Gary and Toad. Eventually they decide to leave them alone, because they believe Gary might be some kind of intern for the Mario Bros due to how he's dressed.

Toad thanks Gary, who reveals that he has no special powers like Mario and Luigi. I guess Luigi may have told/shown him his awesome jumping abilities and such along the line somewhere. This is all the information Kamek needs to confront Gary. What does Kamek want with Gary? This doesn't look good.
